Our Process

Carpet Cleaning:
Most manufacturers of carpet recommend carpet care services at least once a year and in fact, most require you to clean your carpet at least every 18 months by a professional carpet cleaner to keep your carpet manufacturer warranty valid.

I am certified by the IICRC Institute of Inspection and cleaning Restoration Certification, so I use the cleaning method recommend by them. This is also the cleaning method recommend by most carpet manufacturers, including Shaw Industries, one of the largest manufacturers of carpet in the world.

Our cleaning method is a 6 step process.

  1. Pre Inspection
  2. Pre-spray step
  3. A cleaning or rinse step
  4. DuPont Teflon Protection or Deodorizers as needed
  5. Drying
  6. Post Inspection

Pre-Inspection:
Walking through all the areas to be cleaned making sure we know what you want done. Also it gives us the opportunity to tell you what expectations of your cleaning. I want you to know up front and honest with you so there are no surprises at the end. Our goal is for you to be 100% satisfied.

Pre-Spray:
A heated carpet pre-cleaning solution is sprayed deep into the carpet fibers to loosen all dirt and embedded oils.

Cleaning or rinse step:
It’s followed by a high pressure powered extraction with a PH Balance fiber rinse. This will remove all the dirt and pre-spray solution. In the end this will leave your carpets not only clean, but also PH Balanced. This step means I leave no residue behind that can cause your carpets to re-soil faster.

DuPont Teflon Protection:
Almost all new carpets & upholstery come with some form of protection. But this protection will be less effective over time. So we recommend at least once a year having the protection reapplied. This will help add your protection before they turn into stains. It will also help preserve the color, beauty, and life of your carpets and upholstery.

Deodorizers:
I use only professional products that are designed to eliminate the odor and simply make over it. Our product uses an enzyme to break down odors such as pet urine, feces, vomit, and more. It is designed to break down and eliminate the organic matter causing the odor.

Drying:
Carpets take up to 4 to 7 hours to dry completely – depending on the air flow you have in your home, the degree of soiling to your carpet and your type of carpet you have.

Post Inspection:
After I am finished with the cleaning, I review what I did for you, making sure you are completely satisfied with my cleaning. My goal is always for you to be 100% satisfied.

Upholstery Cleaning:

A professional upholstery cleaning service can restore the beauty and most important extend the life of your favorite sofa or chair. Also a professional deep cleaning will bring back the vibrant colors and beauty to all your upholstery.

Home owners often forget about cleaning their upholstery until it looks visibly dirty. However the same soil and dust that is in your air fall onto not only your carpet but also your upholstery.

Upholstery should be cleaned every 2 to 3 years. If you have pets or smoke tobacco in your home your upholstery should be cleaned once a year.
